Amigurumi, Crochet Hand-Made Toys
By Marixstitch
The patterns are very clearly worded and easy to follow -- I like the book; however, would have loved more content. So, I guess I took off a 'star' for not being different than any other amigurumi book.
It's great for beginners or intermediates who don't have many patterns to work with.
I have tons of books and patterns and; therefore, found the book a little bit boring with the 'sameness' of it all.

Great Value
By moonglow
Rarely do I find a crochet book that I want to make every single project in, but I want to crochet every monster that lurks between the pages of Scary Cute! 25 patterns for one low price makes this book a good deal.
Note: I did crochet the pumpkin as a "test" before writing this review. The instructions were easy to follow but omitted how to actually finish the pumpkin (the sewing together part). I figured it out on my own, though, and will post a picture here. I'll let you know when I attempt another monster if the directions are more thorough.
