Real Estate Principles, 11th Ed., by Charles J. Jacobus is well organized, flows well, and is well written. The book leads the reader to a fundamental understanding of aspects of the real estate industry, and real property. Vocabulary reviews and questions found at the end of each chapter can be used to enhance the readers' understanding and perception of the principles described within each chapter.
Some of the terms found within the book might be perceived as archaic within the current real estate industry vocabulary, or possibly utilized regionally. These terms, while notable in the history of the real estate industry, could be confusing to the readers and burdensome within the readers' learning experiences. Exposure to these terms could be categorized as indicative of the comprehensiveness of the book.

This book is great for me, a novice to real estate. This book defines all aspects of real estate and defines all the words and expressions. This book succinctly tells the whys and hows of real estate. I wish I had this book before purchasing my properties. I ordered this book from the library because I wanted to have a good look at it before spending the money for it. It took me two months to get the book because it was always out. After I examined the book, I ordered it from Amazon. I am not only benefitting from this book, but I needed it. Thank you.

Basic but thorough

Sometimes the book reads like a dictionary, but there are a lot of terms that may be unfamiliar to a real estate newbie. This is a great book to learn the language of real estate.
