Great reference for SAS programmers

This is a really great reference for SAS programmers. The book contains lots of program codes that can be copied and set up as program templates. The author explains what each code is for and so you can cross reference your templates in order to apply to different situations. This book is probably not for beginners. It's probably more for programmers who want to improve their macro skills.

I'm a competent SAS programmer, but macro novice. Author takes great care to explain concepts carefully and thoroughly. Macros are a tremendous addition to one's SAS toolkit, and I recommend this book to learn them. Enjoy!

Not for this beginner.

Not real easy to read. If you are a professional with SAS, this book would be more useful. As a beginner, it wasn't a good starting point. It read like stereo equipment instructions.
