Wasn't Quite What I Wanted.

This was an okay book. My daughter enjoyed it. But, we purchased it with the specific idea of introducing the concept of a baby sister to her. While it was cute, it wasn't very realistic. In no way is my daughter old enough to do the things Olivia does for her little brothers. And, and newborn doesn't do the same sort of things Olivia's little brothers do.
Cute book, just not for introducing a newborn to big sister.

Not for introducing a new baby- instead is a guide for being a big sister in general

I bought this to help prepare our toddler for being a big sister. It doesn't mention anything about parents bringing home a new baby. Instead it shows how she enjoys helping being a big sister in general (to a preschool & older toddler brother). A cute book, but not quite what I was hoping for/ expecting.

Advice on being a big sister that only Olivia can deliver

This is a great framing of the "job" of being a big sister that only Olivia can deliver. This isn't really geared for that initial bring home baby phase (I highly recommend I'm a Big Sister by Joanne Cole), but great for the follow up after the new baby is up and about and the big sister responsibilities grow. The stickers that come with the book are really cute, and a nice bonus.
