Elec. version has many bugs(strange artifacts and with out many pictures).
And no one didn't fixed anything(I have reported many times).

Excellent guide for Entrepreneurs

Hisrich and Peters has done a great job with this books, that in my opinion is an excellent guide to build your own business. The importance of the entrepreneurs are highlighted, very interesting are the history of the Entrepreneurship and the Qizz to discover if you really are an entrepreneur. The opening profiles at the begining of each chapter are examples of successfully stories of famous entrepreneurs.
Additionally at the end of each part autors enrich learning including several study cases. The book contains a password to get access to the Internet site where updates, news and additional resources can be reach. Very recommendable.

Not in the best shape but GOOD :)

I'm currently using this book for writing 1010. The book came the day I had class which was great so I had it in time. It's a used book and of course it had a few high lights and notes but that was cool cuz those notes and highlights really helped me out :). Another thing the front cover has tape holding it together but that's ok. Overall this is a really good book for writing. There are some very good articles in here.

Gets the job done for English courses.

It arrived to me pretty beat up. The front pages and cover were bent really bad, but it was still entirely legible. I haven't returned it yet, but hopefully I won't get penalized or blamed for returning a book in the same poor condition that I rented it in. That's happened to me before through a different website, so we'll see what happens.

College kid needed this book and I looked everywhere to find the best deal. Originally I spent alot less but then the seller could not find the book...so the sale fell through. I could not find this book easiely. Found it at Amazon and jumped on the rental. My son will never read this after class ends.

A Satisfying Tale

Wow! The Billionaire's Proposal was steamy! But the steam is not the most impressive part about this book; it's the story. Emma Rose has weaved together a compelling tale that draws you in from the first scene to the last word. The main character, Helen is interesting and as a reader I felt compassion for her situation. The story seemed to offer a much needed catharsis for the character. The tastiest part of this read is the coupling of Helen and Adam. Right from their initial meeting they have such a palpable magnetism. With each word I was on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. The ending left me hungry for more. I can hardly wait to read the next book in this series.

Great book!

Great book for anyone looking for a good erotic short story. This book is tailored more towards S&M since Adam is characterized as an alpha male and Helen is a more submissive character. This book also features female pleasure instead of male pleasure which makes it a particularly good read for women. Emma Rose is a very good writer, and her stories will not disappoint readers. This book is the first book in the new Billionaire series, so readers can enjoy this short story and expect to see more of this couple in other books as well. I would highly recommend this book.

This erotica tale is more than a dirty story. It's hot, sure, but there are elements in it that draw you in, captivate you, and keep you turning the pages. It titillates with desires so many of us have but would never delve into.
Helen is offered her dream job as a billionaire's assistant but must turn it down to care for her ailing mother. Billionaire, alpha-male Adam doesn't take rejection well. Especially when it's something he wants.
Long story short, he makes her an offer she can't refuse and it makes for a story we can't forget.

Soccer

Good book not great but good. Enjoyed learning about the Dutch and their development of total football. The author did a good job of obtaining information about the early players and coaches. I cant really recall the author discussing Catholics, Muslims or Protestants but for some reason he kept trying to tie Judaism into Dutch culture and soccer. Not here or there but ALOT. ?? I dont see what this religion had to do with the developent of Totalfootball to the extent of which he wrote about it? I thought I was buying a book on the development of soccer but maybe I was buying some agenda he was pushing as well. I dont know. If you can borrow it from a friend, its worth looking at. Ciao

Like a Cruyff feint--brilliance!

Not only does this book take you in to the mind of Dutch soccer geniuses like Cruyff, Michels, etc. it gets into the mindset of the Dutch themselves. I also loved the stuff on the 1978 World Cup Dutch team which is probably my fave, even more than 1974., for making it to the Final without Cruyff, Krol and other top stars who boycotted the tourny.
For anyone who wants to understand what makes the Dutch tick on and off the soccer field.

A feast for "Total Football" lovers

I will tell you right off that I've been waiting for this book for 26 years. I, like the author, fell for the "total football" of Ajax Amsterdam (a Dutch soccer club which won three consecutive European Cups-'71,'72,'73) and the Dutch national soccer team, which impressed the world during the 1974 and 1978 World Cups. Being an American, I was starved for information about this generation of players who brought a revolution in tactical thinking to world soccer. I'm sure a lot was written about them at the time (some still is), but most of it was not in English or not easily availble in the States. I was convinced at the time that the progressive thinking of these teams must be, in some part, a function of the Dutch mentality. This book is an attempt to show that connection. The chapters essentially alternate between factual information and interviews with some former players and coaches and factual information and interviews with people unrelated to soccer but involved in other creative areas, i.e. architecture, art, etc. The book is not all about the positive side, either. The Dutch national soccer team has had a history of self-destructing at important tournaments and this too is linked with certain aspects of Dutch thinking.
The book also covers some of the more recent vintages of Ajax and the Dutch national team in the same way. This shows not only a continuity of cultural thought, but also helps to deal with situations that occurred after the early '70's, such as the influx of other ethnicities into the soccer teams, and the accompanying problems this brought.
"Brilliant Orange" is essential reading for all those who love Dutch soccer. But it will also be entertaining and insightful for anyone interested in the way cultural thought manifests itself in specific areas of life.

About the Author

Mark Okuda received his BA in biology with a minor in chemistry from the University of the Pacific. He went on to receive his MA in natural science from San Jose State University. Mark taught for 33 years at Silver Creek High School and currently serves as an adjunct faculty member at Evergreen Valley College teaching human heredity and forensic biology. During his tenure as a high school science teacher, Mark was the recipient of the Santa Clara County Teacher of the Year, Synopsys Outstanding Science Teacher Award, East Side Union High School District Innovative Teacher Award (Forensic Science), and National Biotechnology Education Conference Teacher Award and held a patent for a biotechnology kit marketed by Bio-Rad entitled "Secrets of the Rain Forest."

Frank H. Stephenson received his PhD in molecular biology from UC Berkeley and performed postgraduate work at UC San Francisco Medical School. He spent several years with Berlex Biosciences as a senior research scientist prior to joining the Technical Training Department at Life Technologies, where he teaches forensics, DNA sequencing, and real-time PCR. Frank has taught molecular biology with the UC Berkeley Extension program and, for ten years, served as a part-time faculty member with Foothill College, where he conducted evening classes in PCR. Dr. Stephenson has published several books in the biotech field, including DNA: How the Biotech Revolution Is Changing the Way We Fight Disease and Calculations for Molecular Biology and Biotechnology: A Guide to Mathematics in the Laboratory. This textbook evolved from summer workshops in forensic and DNA analysis given at Life Technologies to high school teachers and students in collaboration with his coauthor, Mark Okuda.

This textbook is great for teachers and students who want to be at the forefront of Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). It is an activity-based curriculum with a unique story line that runs seamlessly through all 15 chapters. There are 64 lab activities in all. If the activities are too difficult to comprehend, the author Mark Okuda may be able to provide professional development. This textbook is suitable for comprehensive and alternative high schools, career technical education, and community colleges. Due to its integrated approach of applied mathematics and sciences, this textbook should be the culminating course in a multi-year high school science program.
